As a Board Certified prosthodontist, Dr. Pamela MacPherson prides herself on the quality of care she provides to her patients. She has a unique ability to understand her patients’ fears and anxieties and works with her amazing team to create an atmosphere of comfort and confidence.
Dr. MacPherson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UCSD, and her dental degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. She then completed a three year training program in advanced prosthodontics at the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Los Angeles where she served as Chief Resident. During her third year of residency training, Dr. MacPherson successfully completed two of the four parts of the American Board of Prosthodontics certification examination. She then successfully completed the remaining portions of the exam in February 2007, becoming a Diplomate of the ABP, something only few prosthodontists achieve. Dr. MacPherson is also a former clinical instructor of UCLA School of Dentistry. Having grown up in Spring Valley, she is delighted to be practicing in her home town and to be able to cheer for her favorite baseball team, the Padres.
